The Red Submarine Coursebook is the first book of the Submarine series and it has been designed to build up young learners’ confidence throughout their first steps in the English language, helping them to understand basic grammar structures and vocabulary in a systematic and gradual way.

This CD-Rom provides students with a variety of level-appropriate interactive tasks that are included in neither the coursebook nor the workbook. The CD-Rom gives students further opportunities to practise and consolidate the vocabulary and grammar they have learnt at each stage.

The coursebook is accompanied by the flip-over Storybook and Funbook, provided free for each student. The Storybook contains five stories in comic-strip form which contain grammar and vocabulary learnt in the pupil’s book. Very few words are presented, and they can be found in the glossary in the companion. The Funbook consists of projects for Christmas, Easter, etc. as well as various activities (puzzles, theatrical plays) and playground and classroom games.
